Bardos Moradillo de Roa is an artisanal red wine that captures the purest essence of the Páramo de Corcos in Moradillo de Roa, one of the highest and most distinctive areas of Ribera del Duero.
Made primarily from Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) grapes with small proportions of Garnacha, Albillo Mayor, Bobal, Monastrell, and Graciano, it comes from very old vineyards, 80 to 90 years old, planted on stony and clay-rich soils at an altitude of 960 meters.
The manual harvest and 12-month aging in European oak vats give the wine balance, elegance, and an authentic expression of its terroir. Bardos Moradillo de Roa combines power, depth, and finesse, making it an essential reference for lovers of Ribera del Duero reds with character and complexity.
In appearance, it shows a very deep layer with an intense cherry-red color and dark hues, exhibiting exceptional brightness and clarity.
On the nose, it offers great aromatic intensity, dominated by ripe fruit, elegant notes of cocoa and dark chocolate, and complex nuances of orange peel and aromatic herbs that add freshness and depth.
On the palate, it is structured and powerful, with a sweet and smooth entry. The fruit’s maturity is perfectly balanced by the nobility of the oak, resulting in a broad, enveloping, and persistent mouthfeel. Its velvety texture and long finish convey a perfect balance of strength, elegance, and harmony.
