Bardos Reserva 2021 is an exceptional red wine from the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero. This author wine is produced by Bodega De Bardos, part of Grupo Vintae, using Tinta del País and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes selected from low-yield vineyards in the best areas of Ribera del Duero. The vineyards include a 60-year-old vineyard and a 20-year-old vineyard located in the Fuentemolinos area, known for its slopes and clay-limestone soils. The aging is done for 16 months in new French oak barrels in underground cellars with constant temperature. The result is a cherry-red wine with purple highlights, recognizable for its intense aroma, featuring forest fruits, balsamics, spices, and chocolate. It is a powerful and structured wine, yet fresh, long, and persistent.
