This wine comes from a unique plot of 0.30 hectares in Canalejas de Peñafiel, situated over 920 meters in altitude. The field blends century-old vines planted in 1921, combining 80% Tempranillo with Garnacha, Bobal, and white varieties like Albillo Mayor. The 16 months of aging in French oak barrels give the wine a Burgundian profile, stepping away from the region's traditional opulence. It offers exceptional freshness, mineral tension, and a silky texture. It is an extremely limited production jewel, ideal for collectors and lovers of minimal intervention wines with great aging potential. The tasting note describes its bright ruby color and its aroma with notes of red fruits, wild herbs, chalk, and subtle spices.
