Borsao Tres Picos is an exceptional red wine produced under the D.O. Campo de Borja, a region renowned for its winemaking tradition. Borsao Winery, established in 1958 and initially a cooperative of local producers, specializes in the Garnacha variety, the queen of this terroir. This wine is a monovarietal sourced from old vineyards, with grapes aged between 35 and 60 years, cultivated at altitudes of 600 to 700 meters. The soils, of clay-limestone, stony, and loamy nature, favor the authentic expression of this varietal. The region's climate features marked contrasts: cold winters influenced by the Atlantic and hot summers with Mediterranean conditions, allowing for slow and uniform ripening of the grapes, resulting in a wine with good acidity and vibrant colors. In tasting, it presents an appealing intense cherry color with purple reflections, notable transparency, and a thick tear that falls slowly. Its aromas are a symphony of ripe red fruits with floral nuances. On the palate, it is a silky and structured wine with notes of blackberry, plum, and vanilla, complemented by hints of leather.
