Domaine Matrot Puligny-Montrachet Les Combettes 1er Cru is a white wine made in Burgundy from Chardonnay by Domaine Matrot.

This Les Combettes Premier Cru comes from the northern area of Puligny-Montrachet, on the borders with Perrières, Meursault. Its eastward orientation on a gentle slope allows it to benefit from a clay-limestone soil, ideal for growing Chardonnay. Made from vines that are around 40 years old, this wine was aged for 15 months in barrels that had been used once or twice previously. Subsequently, it completed an additional three months in vats to enhance its tension and length. The result is an extraordinary white wine that culminates in a truly astonishing finish.
