Eido da Salgosa Albariño is a white wine produced in the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin, specifically in the O'Rosal subzone. This wine comes from the Cazapitas winery, located in Tomiño, Pontevedra, in the beautiful region of Galicia. Its production begins with the reception of the grapes, which are introduced into a pneumatic press without removing the stems, allowing the must to cool and clarify for 24 hours. Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature of 14ºC. After fermentation, a racking is performed where the lees are kept in contact with the wine for 4 months, followed by an additional treatment for another 4 months. This gives the wine notable complexity and elegance. Tasting-wise, Eido da Salgosa is characterized by its clear, bright straw-yellow color, with a nose revealing abundant fruit presence along with subtle mineral and spicy notes. On the palate, its freshness is highlighted without aggressive acidity. It is a simple yet elegant wine, perfect to enjoy with fish and seafood.
