An incomparable wine grown in a privileged environment, on limestone, sandy, clayey and stony soils, where there are very particular climatic conditions, with a lot of thermal oscillation between day and night. As a result, the vines, which are over 40 years old, manage to produce low yields of high quality grapes.
Soils at an altitude of over 900 metres above sea level, over 40 years old. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.
Intense cherry red colour with garnet rim. The nose is complex with aromas of ripe red fruit, liquorice, spices and balsamic touches. The palate is delicate but long, with very ripe tannins.
Smooth, tender and creamy on the palate, very persistent, showing the elegance and balance of the wine.
The woody notes combine harmoniously with the fruit, reappearing throughout the retronasal phase along with the sugar caramel, liquorice and toasted notes that make the wine long and attractive.
