Flor de Pingus 2023 is one of the most successful wines from Dominio de Pingus, recognized in the Ribera del Duero denomination. This wine stands out for its smoothness on the palate, where blackberries and blueberries prevail, complemented by subtle hints of oak and mocha. The mouthfeel is defined by very fine and polished tannins, offering freshness and good balance. The tasting reveals a dark, dense ruby color, with an intense nose evoking blackberries, plums, spices, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, it is concentrated, with a long finish that invites continued enjoyment. Its vinification takes place in small stainless steel tanks, where 50% of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels, while the rest develops in stainless steel deposits. Additionally, it has an 18-month aging process, of which 40% of the wine matures in new Allier oak barrels and the rest in used barrels. This wine is perfect for pairing with a special meal or simply enjoying in good company.
