Gorvia Blanco 2019 is an exceptional white wine produced by the Quinta da Muradella winery, located in the Monterrei region, famous for its rich winemaking tradition. This wine is a single-variety wine made from 100% Doña Blanca grapes, sourced from a small parcel of old vines that offer limited yield, enhancing the quality of the product. Vinification is carried out traditionally, with minimal intervention to preserve the grape's characteristics. The grapes are de-stemmed and undergo cold maceration to aid in aroma extraction. Subsequently, fermentation takes place in used 500L oak barrels, and aging is done for 8 months in 300L barrels. The result is a wine with a straw-yellow color and golden reflections. On the nose, aromas intensify with minerality standing out, balanced with notes of white fruit, nuts, and floral hints. On the palate, it is fresh and silky, with subtle wood notes, leaving a long and persistent aftertaste that invites enjoyment in good company.
