Goyo García Viadero Finca Los Quemados is an outstanding red wine from the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, produced by winemaker Goyo García Viadero using grapes of the Tinta del país variety. This wine is made from grapes from vines over 50 years old, grown in the vineyards of Villanueva de Gumiel, at an altitude of 900 meters, where the roots are found in red sandy soil and pebbles. The meticulous hand harvest ensures that only the best grapes are selected. After harvesting, the grapes are manually destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place with native yeasts in stainless steel vats, allowing the wine to macerate for three months. Subsequently, the wine is aged for one year in French oak barrels that are eight to ten years old, imparting exceptional depth and complexity. In the final process, it is bottled without filtration or clarification, ensuring it retains all its authenticity and natural character.
