The Goyo García Viadero Finca Viñas de Arcilla 2018 is a red wine produced under the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero by the renowned winemaker Goyo García Viadero. This wine is a single-varietal made exclusively from Tempranillo (Tinta del país) grapes grown in red sandy and clay soils in the municipality of Anguix, Burgos. With vines over 100 years old, this wine benefits from a unique environment that enhances its nuances. The winemaking process is meticulous: fermentation is carried out with native yeasts and a prolonged maceration of three months. Afterwards, Goyo García Viñas de Arcilla ages in used French oak barrels, a process that adds remarkable complexity and elegance. Following this initial process, the wine is refined in the bottle for one to two years.
