The House of Silk is a red wine made by Bodegas Murviedro, with the Protected Denomination of Origin Utiel - Requena. This wine stands out for its exceptional character and is made from old Bobal vines. Its production process follows ancestral techniques aimed at reflecting the potential of the terroir. The harvest took place on October 4, 2016, followed by fermentation at 25ºC using native yeasts and gentle pump-overs. After 15 days of maceration, the wine was pressed, and malolactic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine was transferred to a 5,000-liter fudre to age for 6 months before bottling. With a deep purple color, The House of Silk presents a variety of aromas including fruity notes, aromatic herbs, violets, and spices like saffron. It is also distinguished by its good acidity and freshness, silky tannins, and a mineral finish, making it an ideal choice to enjoy with a wide variety of dishes.
