Leirana Genoveva is a white wine from the exclusive D.O. Rías Baixas, produced by Bodega Forjas de Salnés. This wine is made with Albariño, a grape variety from vineyards over 160 years old. These vineyards are planted on sandy, granite-derived soils, giving the grapes unique characteristics that are reflected in the wine. The grapes are hand-picked to ensure the highest quality of each cluster. The vinification takes place in open barrels of 500 liters, using indigenous yeasts, which enhances and respects the primary aromas of the grape. The wine ages in fudres and used barrels for 12 months, contributing to its complexity and elegance. Leirana Genoveva displays a compact profile, with a fresh and well-integrated acidity. With extra time in the bottle, its components harmonize, offering a round wine that pairs well with a wide variety of dishes and is perfect for special occasions.
