Leirana Genoveva is a white wine made from Albariño grapes from the Rías Baixas DO by the Forjas de Salnés winery.
This wine is made from grapes coming from vineyards over 160 years old, planted in pergola on sandy soils of granitic origin. The grapes were harvested by hand and vinified in 500-litre open barrels fermented with indigenous yeasts.
Aged in foudre and multi-purpose barrels for 12 months.
It is compact and very integrated, it does not show excessive ripeness and has a marked acidity, but the extra time in bottle has given it a more harmonious mouthfeel without losing any drive.
