Majuelos de Callejo Magnum is a red wine produced by Bodegas Felix Callejo with Tinta Fina in the D.O. Ribera del Duero.

"Majuelo is a traditional Castilian word used by his grandparents to refer to vineyards, generally small in size, with irregularly distributed vines and always in marginal, poor soils.

This is the origin of the idea of elaborating this wine, from a selection of Tinto Fino grapes in gravel soils, which are marginal and very poor soils, with little vigour, achieving a perfect balance giving very fine and elegant wines, with a long life. This wine takes us back to our childhood, when all the grandchildren helped our grandmother Daría in the harvest of her Majuelos in Sotillo de la Ribera".

Tasting Note of Majuelos de Callejo

Deep purplish cherry red colour. Complex and very aromatic on the nose. Great elegance with notes of plum, blueberry, blackberry, pepper, cocoa powder, leaves, aromatic wood.

The palate is very juicy, ample, restrained, with great structure and balance, sensations of red and black fruit, floral, undergrowth, cinnamon, nutmeg, pastry notes. Long primary, milky and spicy finish.
