-Nose: Initial impression of caramelized brown sugar aroma accentuated by tobacco, leather and orange peel. Over time there is an oak aroma with a touch of cognac and additional note of marzipan, leather and baking spices.
-Mouth: In the mouth comes with a surprising dryness that seems to disagree with the promise of sweetness offered in the nose. A wave of spices and oak tannins serve to gather the mouth that gives the rum the initial impression of hardness. In time, a fruity rum with blackberries and cherries is appreciated. The feeling of dryness seems to dominate the finish with a very slight burn in the throat.
