The Macallan Edition n º 2 is a new limited edition belonging to edition Series. This latest version brings together seven types of barrels from four different wineries that show a unique process of co-creation and mastery.
The teachers who have participated in this collaboration are Bob Dalgarno, whisky maker of The Macallan and the Roca Brothers, co-founders of El Celler de Can Roca, twice chosen as the best restaurant in the world.
The Macallan Edition number 2 reflects the personality of the 3 brothers Roca and the brand itself. A collaboration that lasts for 3 years and that shares philosophy. On the one hand the innovation of the Macallan also inherent to the Celler de Can Roca and the other, the humanitarian part of the Scottish firm.
Production limited to 2000 bottles.
The Macallan Edition No. 2 is a complex, harmonious whiskey with citrus notes and a marked caramel flavor. Honey and Amber Rose, touching the gold.
In the mouth is warm, with spices such as ground black pepper and cloves that are combined with notes of chocolate, brown sugar, oak and nuts. Finally, a hint of licorice and brandy.
The finish is complete, slow, warm and wonderfully viscous.
