Usarralde Gran Vino is a red wine produced by Châpeau Wines in the D.O.Ca. Rioja with 100% Garnacha grapes.
Usarralde Tempranillo is the fruit of Garnacha vines located on 84-year-old clay-gravel soils at an altitude of 680 meters in Monte Yerga, Alfaro.
Its elaboration with Garnacha and its 10 months of barrel aging make this Usarralde Gran Vino the most special jewel of the entire Usarralde range.
Appearance: Low intensity color of a Grenache with very little extraction, at the same time bright, clean and elegant.
Nose: Elegant and fresh. Very varietal. With a liqueur point that makes it special, deep and persistent.
Palate: Velvety and silky on the palate. Tension, freshness and agility are its main virtues, without forgetting its elegant tannins from its timid time in oak and its notes of berries and forest that we find in the finish.
