Viña de Martín Pasas Escolma 2020 is a white wine made in the heart of the Ribeiro by the prestigious winemaker Luis Anxo Rodríguez Vázquez.
This special edition "Escolma" represents the best selection of native Galician grapes, such as Treixadura, Albariño, Lado and Torrontés, from old vineyards cultivated in a sustainable way. Its prolonged aging in barrels and stainless steel tanks provides complexity and elegance, resulting in a unique wine, with great aging capacity.
Appearance: Bright golden yellow, with amber reflections and a fine, persistent tear.
Nose: Complex and deep aromas, where ripe fruits such as quince and apricot stand out, floral notes, honey, nuts and mineral and saline nuances that evoke its granite origin. The aging provides subtle touches of vanilla and sweet spices.
Palate: Broad, structured and unctuous. Its balanced acidity gives it freshness and tension, while its silky texture and long finish with hints of candied fruit and mineral touches make it a wine of great persistence and elegance.
