The factory that revolutionized gummy candies, Dulciora, was established in October 1961. It was the flagship of sweets in the 60s, known for Balsamín, a pectoral candy, as advertised in El Norte de Castilla, but especially for the duo formed by Masky and Barrilete, chewable candies that transformed the market of the time and delighted the little ones. All of this was produced in Dulciora, a family-owned company that led the sugar confectionery sector for many years and which, now in the hands of the multinational company Mondelez, successor to Kraft Foods, has announced the sale of the brand and closure by the end of 2017.
