Quadrupel Pack

There is no clear explanation for the origin of the term Quadrupel. Some claim that it depends on the intensity of the wort. The term Quadrupel was the result of a seasonal beer brewed at the Koningshoeven Abbey (La Trappe) in the Netherlands in 1991, and therefore the first to use that name.
