Rioja Bordón Crianza, produced by the historic Bodegas Franco-Españolas in Logroño, is a quality red wine made from a careful blend of the Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta varieties. The production process begins with meticulous selection of the grapes, followed by destemming and gentle crushing. After alcoholic fermentation, malolactic deacidification takes place before the wine ages in American oak barrels for 12 months. During this period, a traditional racking occurs every six months to enhance its quality. On tasting, a ruby-red color with notes of ripe fruits, vanilla, and toast is appreciated. Its palate is smooth, with good structure and elegant tannins, culminating in a finish that evokes fruits and spices. Ideal with legumes, grilled white meats, and sheep cheeses, it is recommended to serve between 16º and 18ºC. This Crianza is a faithful representative of the Denomination of Origin Rioja, guaranteeing its quality and uniqueness.
