The Extra Virgin Olive Oil from La Chinata is obtained from a selection of olives harvested in the region of Sierra de Gata, located in the northwest of the province of Cáceres. Only the best olives are selected there to guarantee the production of a high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The tin format preserves all the properties of the EVOO and it is important to choose the appropriate size according to your consumption, in order to not store it for a long period of time because once opened, its qualities and flavor diminish.
This Extra Virgin Olive Oil is characterized primarily by four factors: - An intense yellow color with some traces of green. - A sweet and flat taste, without the characteristic spiciness or bitterness of oils from southern Spain; therefore, a very pleasant palate is achieved that makes tasting these Virgin oils a true pleasure. - A very dense aroma of ripe fruit. - A very high content of fatty acids, which make these Virgins one of the most perfect of all those obtained in the different olive-growing regions of Spain. It should be noted that, in the region of La Sierra de Gata, most of the olives are destined for direct consumption, that is, for table olives, which enjoy a well-deserved reputation throughout Spain (the famous "Manzanilla Cacereña" olives).
