Hacienda López de Haro Crianza 2022, produced by Bodega Hacienda López de Haro, is a Red Wine from the D.O. Rioja made with the best grapes of Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano, aged for 18 months in barrels and with an alcohol content of 13.5º. From the heart of the Rioja Denomination of Origin comes the Hacienda López de Haro collection. La Sonsierra, located in the Rioja Alta region, is bordered to the north by the Sierra de Cantabria and to the south by the Ebro River. The microclimate generated by its unique geographical characteristics is perfect for vineyards, especially for the Tempranillo variety. Perhaps that's why this is one of the Rioja regions with the oldest wine-making traditions.
Varieties: Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano.
Vineyard: Selection of old low-yield vineyards planted in poor soils on the terraces of the Ebro, in the Sonsierra area.
Harvest: Manual harvest during the month of October.
Production: 10 days of maceration. Controlled fermentation at 28ºC.
Aging: 18 months in French and American oak barrels.
Alcohol: 13.5% Vol
Tasting notes
Visual: Garnet color with brick tones.
Nose: Complex, with aromas of ripe red fruit and licorice, combined with notes of coffee, vanilla, and balsamic from the aging process.
Palate: Smooth and velvety, with sweet and mature tannins. Friendly and easy to drink. Long aftertaste.
