Sand is omnipresent in the soil of the Landes region. "Les Pieds dans le Sable" combines two distinct terroirs: the Fauves Sands to the east and the Ocean Sands to the west. A unique blend for fresh and fruity wines, marked by a subtle salinity. Les Pieds dans le Sable Blanc is fresh and balanced. On the nose, aromas of citrus, mandarin, and grapefruit are present. The aromatic intensity is light before opening up with aeration to reveal exotic fruits such as Victoria pineapple and orchard fruits like mirabelle. On the palate, the wine has a lively and full-bodied attack with increasing acidity that balances out towards the finish, highlighting white flesh fruits and adding a touch of salinity. Pair with seafood, white meat in sauce, exotic cuisine, or cheeses.
