Our mixed box contains a special selection of fruits: 10 kg of oranges ideal for juicing, 3 kg of chemicals-free mandarins, and 2 kg of avocados. The oranges provide excellent juice full of vitamins, while the mandarins are perfect for a healthy snack. The avocados are very versatile; they can be used in salads, on toast, or for guacamole. If you acquire a green avocado, it can take between 10 and 14 days to ripen at room temperature (18-24ºC) away from direct sunlight. To speed up the process, store it in a paper bag, reducing the ripening time to approximately 4-6 days; and if you want it to ripen even faster (2-3 days), you can add a ripe banana to the bag. We recommend checking the ripeness daily to enjoy the avocados at their best.
