Artuke Paso Las Mañas
Artuke Paso Las Mañas is a village red wine from Baños de Ebro, originating from a single plot located at an altitude of 730 meters, one of the highest and coldest areas of the locality. Made almost entirely from Tempranillo (with a minimal contribution of Graciano), this wine breaks away from the stereotype of classic, oaky Riojas. It is vinified with the aim of showcasing the purity of the clay-limestone terroir, aged in large wooden foudres to avoid masking the fruit. On the nose, it is vibrant and direct, with notes of wild berries, violets, and a pronounced chalky minerality. On the palate, it stands out for its tension, electric acidity, and exceptional finesse, moving away from opulence to focus on elegance. It is a wine with the soul of Burgundy but the heart of Rioja.
