The Tres Viñas is a tribute to the great historic whites of Rioja. It is made from a blend of the three classic white varieties of the area: Viura, Malvasía, and Garnacha Blanca, sourced from old vineyards in the Najerilla Valley. What makes this wine unique is its meticulous aging: each variety is vinified separately and the blend undergoes 12 months in American oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine rests in the bottle for at least another year to refine its complexity.
In appearance, it presents an intense golden yellow color, bright and with a dense tear that indicates its structure. On the nose, it is extraordinarily complex; notes of ripe fruit, dried fruits, honey, and dried flowers emerge, all enveloped in elegant hints of vanilla, toasting, and a touch of salted butter typical of its time in wood. On the palate, it is a wine of great volume, unctuous and profound, but with a surprising acidity that keeps it lively and elegant. It is a "guard" white, perfect for pairing with dishes that would normally go with reds: fatty grilled fish, roasted white meats, mushrooms, risottos, and aged cheeses.
