Bunnahabhain 12 years is the flagship expression of this distillery located on the northeast coast of Islay. Unlike its neighbors (such as Laphroaig or Ardbeg), Bunnahabhain primarily uses unpeated malt and pure spring water that comes directly to the distillery through pipes, avoiding contact with the peat of the land.

This whisky stands out for its double maturation in Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks, which gives it a rich, sweet, and full-bodied profile. Additionally, it is presented without chill-filtering (un-chillfiltered) and with its natural color, maintaining all the intensity of its oils and original flavors.
