Davila 2024 is a Galician white wine that stands out for its elegance, freshness, and aromatic complexity. Made from a balanced blend of albariño, loureiro, and treixadura, it faithfully expresses the Atlantic character of Val do Salnés. Its aromatic profile, marked by floral notes and ripe tropical fruit, makes it a versatile and seductive wine, ideal for those seeking whites with depth and personality.
Winemaking:
A pre-selection of the varieties is carried out in the vineyard, followed by a second selection of grapes in the winery before destemming. Cold maceration (10 ºC) for 6-8 hours is followed by pressing. It undergoes clarification by flotation and alcoholic fermentation of each variety separately, with automated temperature control. Aging on the lees in stainless steel tanks for albariño and loureiro. It is filtered using a tangential filter, bottled, and rested for 60 days before being released to the market.
Tasting notes:Visual: Lemon-yellow, clear and bright, with a steel-colored edge.
Aroma: Complex aromatic profile with notes of spring flowers, mango, pineapple, and ripe fruit.
Palate: Silky and fresh, with good structure. Its mouthfeel is delicate, leaving a marked presence of tropical fruit combined with aromatic herbs.
Food pairing:
Perfect with seafood, white fish, ceviches, seafood rice dishes, mild cheeses, and sautéed vegetables. Also ideal as a fresh aperitif.
