Henri Bourgeois Sauvignon Blanc
Petit Bourgeois is the "little" great wine from the Famille Bourgeois. Although it doesn't carry the name of a specific appellation (it is labeled as IGP Val de Loire), it is produced with the same rigor as its older siblings. It is a Sauvignon Blanc that aims for immediate freshness and the liveliest expression of fruit. On the nose, it is an explosion of citrus aromas, grapefruit, white flowers, and that typical herbaceous touch from the Loire that reminds one of freshly cut grass. On the palate, it is light, very lively, and has a crisp acidity that invites you to take another sip. It is the quintessential "thirst-quenching" wine, ideal for casual drinking, Mediterranean salads, sushi, or simply as an aperitif.
