Protos Roble is a young red wine aged in the Ribera del Duero D.O., produced by Bodegas Protos from 100% Tinta del País (Tempranillo) grapes from vineyards of approximately 25 years old.After a manual harvest in 20 kg boxes and a 15-day maceration at 24 °C, the wine ages for 6 months in American and French oak barrels, followed by another 6 months in the bottle before being commercialized.
Appearance:Cherry red color with a purple rim, clean and bright.
Nose:Intense aromas of fresh red and black fruits, accompanied by spicy notes and light toasts from its aging in wood.
Pallate:In the mouth it is fruity, fresh, with good structure, soft tannins and a balanced and pleasant finish.
