Sketch is an exceptional white wine from the Rías Baixas designation of origin, crafted by the renowned winemaker Raúl Pérez. This wine is produced from 100% Albariño grapes sourced from old vines in the Salnés subzone, Galicia. The vines grow in granitic soils, near the Atlantic, imparting a distinctive mineral and saline personality to the wine. Harvesting is done manually, and fermentation occurs spontaneously using native yeasts in 750-liter oak barrels without temperature control. The wine ages for 12 months in used French oak barrels, in contact with its lees, to enhance its volume and complexity while respecting the essence of the grape and terroir. Sensory-wise, Sketch exhibits a pale golden yellow color with greenish reflections. Its aroma is elegant, with notes of white fruit, citrus, wildflowers, and aromatic herbs, combined with a salty backdrop. On the palate, it is broad, fresh, and enveloping, with a vibrant acidity and a long, citrusy, and saline finish.
