This wine is the result of a careful manual selection of grapes from various plots and types of soil: slate in the highest areas, granite and "xábregos" (sandy) in the middle of the slope, and alluvial soils in the valley. The different orientations and altitudes of these plots are distinctive of the terroir of this region.
