Mallow contains active principles such as tannins, mucilages, malvin, and vitamins A, B1, B2, and C. This medicinal plant has anti-inflammatory, demulcent, antitussive, laxative, mucolytic, hypoglycemic, diuretic, emollient, and antiseptic actions. Usage instructions: Infusion, (boil for a few moments) 1 tablespoon of plant per cup of water. Let it steep for a few minutes, strain, and drink up to 3 cups a day. External use: gargles.
