An extremely versatile food that is one of the vegetables par excellence of the Japanese diet. Clearspring Organic Dried Daikon is made without dyes or additives and with traditional and time-honored methods. Fresh daikon root is simply washed, shredded into julienne strips and then dried for over six hours. This slow drying process gives daikon a particularly concentrated sweet, mild flavor and retains most of its nutritional value.

How to use:

Soak for 30 minutes or longer. Squeeze out excess water, chop and add to soups and stews or sauté alone or with other vegetables and season to taste with soy sauce. Can also steep in hot water for tea to cleanse and balance.
