High mountain honey is the result of the mixture of various flowerings, in which the most prominent ones are chestnut, broom, heather, flowers, etc. High Mountain Honey is characterized by its intense amber color with reddish and brown tones. It is a honey with a sweet, persistent and intense flavor with floral notes on the palate.
The mountain honey is harvested at 900m altitude, in beehives that can wake up covered in snow on cold days and with a spectacular landscape, as well as in the cool spring surrounded by purple, yellow and flowers of all colors.
This honey is undoubtedly unique and of high quality, rich in mineral salts with beneficial properties for people with anemia. It is known to be effective in helping to expel kidney stones, due to its purifying capacity; and to increase the defenses of the immune system.
