Mark: Arnaud Baillot
Located south of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet is one of the most famous villages of the "Côte des blancs", in the Borgonne. Here, Chardonnay is adored by the whole world for its freshness, creaminess, longevity... Arnaud Baillot elaborates in a traditional way: manual harvest, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in barrels and aging up to 12 months in French oak (25% new oak). It is a generous and elegant wine, with intense aromas of flowers, brioche and candied lemon, evolving towards hints of hazelnut and spices. It is fine, pleasant and long-lasting on the palate. In short, it is a top Burgundy.
