Champagne Veuve Clicquot Rich is a modern and original interpretation of the style of the historic Maison Veuve Clicquot , designed especially to be enjoyed in cocktails or on the rocks. It is made from a blend dominated by Pinot Noir , accompanied by Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay , following the house tradition but with a fruitier and slightly sweeter profile than the classic brut.
After the second fermentation in bottle, the wine is aged for several years on its lees, developing fine bubbles and greater aromatic complexity. Its higher dosage is designed to bring out the aromas when served on ice or accompanied by fresh ingredients such as fruit, herbs or citrus.
The nose is very expressive, with aromas of tropical fruit, peach, pineapple and citrus notes , accompanied by delicate floral nuances. The palate is fresh, balanced and silky, with creamy bubbles and a long, fruity finish. A versatile and contemporary champagne, ideal to enjoy on the rocks with a touch of fruit or as a base for elegant cocktails.
