Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé is a modern and innovative rosé Champagne produced by the historic Veuve Clicquot house, founded in 1772 in Reims and widely recognised as one of the most iconic Champagne producers.
This cuvée belongs to the “Rich” collection , designed to offer a fruit-forward, sweeter and more versatile style of Champagne. Unlike traditional Brut Champagnes, Rich Rosé features a high dosage of around 60 g/L of sugar , which enhances its aromatic intensity and rounded texture.
The blend is built around Pinot Noir , providing structure and red-fruit character, combined with Pinot Meunier , which adds softness and ripe fruit expression, and a smaller proportion of Chardonnay for freshness and balance. A portion of still Pinot Noir red wine is added to achieve the rosé colour.
On the nose it reveals vibrant aromas of strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant , with hints of exotic fruit and subtle herbal nuances. On the palate it is smooth, round and fruit-driven , with fine bubbles and a generous finish dominated by ripe red-berry flavours.
This Champagne was specifically designed to be enjoyed in a more relaxed way, often served over ice and paired with ingredients such as ginger, lime, pineapple or tea , highlighting its playful and refreshing character.
