CM Matarromera 2019 is a crafted wine made from the Tempranillo variety, sourced from the vineyards of San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja. These vineyards, ranging from 25 to 80 years old, are located in one of the highest areas of the Sonsierra, enhancing grape quality. The production is limited, ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 kgs per hectare, allowing careful harvesting of the fruit. The grapes are hand-selected and gathered in boxes of less than 12 kg to ensure their integrity. After harvest, the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation in barrel. This wine will mature in French (65%) and American (35%) oak barrels for 12 months before bottling. The result is an intense, bright cherry color exhibiting exceptional structure, great balance, and intense flavor, complemented by a long, pleasant aftertaste. Ideal for enjoying in good company.
