Dominio de Fontana Reserva Cuvée Isabelina 2022 is a distinguished organic red wine produced by Bodegas Fontana, belonging to the Designation of Origin Uclés. This wine results from a balanced blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sourced from vineyards located at altitudes of 750 to 800 meters in Cuenca. The vineyards are cultivated under strict sustainable and ecological criteria, allowing for balanced and slow maturation, thus preserving freshness and a rich aromatic concentration. The harvest is manual, including careful selection in the field, and each variety is vinified separately. Subsequently, the wine undergoes fermentation and malolactic processes. It ages for 18 months in 300-liter French oak barrels, imparting complexity and refining its tannins. On the nose, the wine is intense and elegant, with notes of ripe black fruit, plum, and berries, harmoniously intertwined with touches of sweet spices, cocoa, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is broad, structured, and balanced, showing polished tannins and a fresh acidity that provides tension and a good length.
