Flor de Silos 2019 is a masterpiece from Cillar de Silos, crafted in the finest vintages to capture the essence of its historic vineyard in Ribera del Duero. The Altos de Revilla estate hosts Tempranillo vines planted between 1927 and 1930, yielding fruit of great concentration. The wine undergoes fermentation followed by aging for 14 to 18 months in French oak barrels. This process enhances its structure while respecting the vineyard's original identity. On the nose, it presents a range of aromas including ripe dark fruit, plum, blackberry, licorice, alongside mineral notes of graphite, balsamic hints, and touches of sweet spices, truffle, and moist earth. The palate is deep with mature tannins and a silky texture, while fresh acidity brings balance. Ideal for pairing with roasted lamb, red meats, and semi-cured cheeses.
