Granbazán Don Álvaro de Bazán 2021 is a white wine from D.O. Rías Baixas produced by Bodegas Granbazán in the Salnés Valley. It is produced with 100% Albariño from old vineyards located in the highest part of the Tremoedo estate , on granitic soils and under an Atlantic climate that favors a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes.

After manual harvesting, the grapes undergo cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine remains at least two years on its lees , a process that provides volume, complexity and cellaring capacity without losing the characteristic freshness of Albariño.

The nose is complex and expressive, with aromas of yellow and citrus fruit such as mango, quince and tangerine , accompanied by herbaceous notes and nuances of aging. The palate is ample and balanced, with lively acidity, unctuous texture and a long finish with a marked saline character typical of the great Albariño wines from Salnés.
