La Fleur VIVALTUS 2016 is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by the VivaltuS winery, an oenological project led by Montxo Martínez with the advice of the prestigious Bordeaux oenologist Jean-Claude Berrouet. It is made mainly with Tempranillo (about 97%) accompanied by small proportions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot , from old vineyards located between 850 and 1,000 meters above sea level , which brings freshness and precision to the wine.
Each plot is vinified separately through a very careful process with minimal intervention. After fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged for approximately 11 months in French oak barrels , while a small part is aged in ovoid tanks, bringing greater aromatic purity and freshness to the whole
The nose is elegant and perfumed, with aromas of red and black fruits, floral notes and delicate spicy nuances. The palate is balanced and silky, with fine tannins, good acidity and a long finish that reflects a modern and refined interpretation of Ribera del Duero. A complex and gastronomic red wine, ideal to accompany red meats, game or cured cheeses.
