La Planta 2025 is a red wine made from 100% Tempranillo by Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro. It comes from selected grapes from Finca La Planta, in Quintanilla de Onésimo, in Ribera del Duero. The vineyards are located at 911 meters above sea level on clay-limestone soils. The 2025 harvest followed a particularly rainy winter that required careful vineyard health management. The winery highlighted the quality and good ripening of the grapes. After hand harvesting and cluster selection, the wine aged for six months in French and American oak barrels, while maintaining its young, fruit-forward character. On the nose, ripe red and black fruits stand out, with hints of cherry, blackberry and plum, together with notes of spice, vanilla and light toast. On the palate it offers a juicy entry, round tannins, good structure and balanced acidity. Its texture is smooth and the finish is persistent, with hints of wood and spice. It is a versatile red for pairing with roasted meats, lamb, cured meats and cheeses, combining fruit ripeness, freshness and moderate ageing.
