L'Ermita 2022 represents the highest expression of Priorat, crafted by Álvaro Palacios since 1993. It is known for its finesse, depth, and aging potential, thanks to centennial vines and llicorella soils. The 2022 vintage, despite a warm year, maintains a refined style similar to that of 2021. Production is limited, with a rigorous selection of plots that offer complexity and harmony between fruit, freshness, and minerality. On the nose, raspberry, wild cherry, and aromas of rose and white pepper can be perceived. On the palate, it is silky, with fine tannins and a finish where red fruit and cocoa reappear. Its aging potential exceeds 30 years, making it ideal for pairing with lamb, game, and aged cheeses.
