Matarromera Crianza 2021 Magnum is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero made by Bodegas Matarromera from 100% Tempranillo from vineyards located in the surroundings of Valbuena and Olivares de Duero, at altitudes around 730-790 meters. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged for approximately 12 months in French and American oak barrels , followed by a period of refinement in the bottle to round out its character.
The nose is elegant and expressive, with aromas of ripe black fruit such as blackberry and plum , accompanied by delicate spicy notes, toasted hints and balsamic nuances from the aging. Tasty and well-structured on the palate, with polished tannins, good acidity and a long, balanced finish combining fruit and spicy notes.
Presented in a 1.5 L Magnum format , ideal for celebrations and for a slower evolution of the wine in bottle, this Ribera del Duero combines intensity and elegance. A very gastronomic red wine that goes especially well with red meats, roasts, stews, sausages or cured cheeses.
