O Pequeno Meín Tinto 2020 is an exceptional wine from the D.O. Ribeiro, created by the winery Viña Meín – Emilio Rojo, which is part of an ambitious project called Alma Carraovejas. This wine results from a careful blending of native Galician varieties such as Sousón, Brancellao, Caíño Tinto, and Ferrón. The grapes come from small parcels in the historic Avia valley, known for its rich viticultural tradition. The harvest is done manually, ensuring the quality of the crop, and each variety is vinified separately. The wine is then aged in concrete tanks and large wooden containers. On the nose, this wine presents freshness and expressiveness, with aromas of red fruit, floral notes, and slight spicy nuances. On the palate, it is juicy and balanced, characterized by fine tannins, good acidity, and a fresh, persistent finish.
