O Pequeno Meín Tinto 2020 is a red wine from the D.O. Ribeiro produced by Viña Meín - Emilio Rojo , a winery integrated in the Alma Carraovejas project. It is produced from a blend of native Galician varieties such as Sousón, Brancellao, Caíño Tinto and Ferrón , from small plots located in the historic Avia valley, an area of great winegrowing tradition.
The grapes are harvested by hand and each variety is vinified separately. The wine is then aged in concrete tanks and large wooden vats , seeking to preserve the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir without the wood dominating the whole.
The nose is fresh and expressive, with aromas of red fruit, floral notes and delicate spicy nuances. The palate is juicy and balanced, with fine tannins, good acidity and a fresh and persistent finish that reflects the Atlantic character of Ribeiro reds. A very gastronomic wine, ideal to accompany white meats, sausages or traditional Galician cuisine.
