Picardías Sweet White Wine, made 100 % with the Verdejo variety from the southern area of León, Spain, with D.O. León. Presented in a 75 cl bottle and with an alcohol content of 9.5 %. The grapes come from deep, acidic and very poor soils, with a loamy-clay texture and abundant gravel and pebbles. Harvesting is done by hand in 20 kg boxes and processed on a sorting table. Production includes cold pre-maceration for 8 h in a pneumatic press at 8 °C, followed by bleeding and settling in stainless steel for 24 h at 8 °C. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out at 14 °C until 60 g/L of residual sugar is reached, and it is stopped by cold at -4 °C. Visually, it shows a pale yellow color with greenish tones, clean and bright. On the nose, aromas of ripe white fruits, fresh herbs and tropical notes stand out. On the palate it is sweet, fresh, broad, balanced and persistent.
