Sweet White Wine Picardías
This wine is made 100% with the Verdejo variety existing in the southern area of León, Vino de España. Deep soils, acidic, very poor, clay loam texture, with lots of gravel and pebbles.
Harvest: manual in boxes of 20kg. processed in selection table.
Making: Cold pre-maceration for 8h in pneumatic press at 8ºC. Bleeding and racking in stainless steel for 24 hours at 8ºC. Alcoholic fermentation at 14ºC until reaching 60 g.L. of residual sugar. Stop fermentation by cold at -4ºC.
Alcoholic graduation: 9.5%
