Alcorta Crianza made from Tempranillo grapes, seems to us a cheerful, smooth and full-bodied wine, perfect for tapas.
Viña Alcorta has structured the vineyard into separate plots for the reserva, crianza and joven. In this case, the crianza comes from vineyards over 25 years old.
Alcorta Crianza is a wine with Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja, made 100% from Tempranillo grapes. After one year of aging in oak barrels (1/3 French oak and 2/3 American oak), it rests in the bottle for around 6 months.
Longer macerations are carried out to achieve a more structured wine with a better balance between fruit and wood. All of this allows us to obtain a more fruity, velvety, and spicy crianza.
Alcorta Crianza is ideal for all types of meats, stews, and semi-aged cheeses. It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 15 and 17ºC.
